International Visitor Leadership Programs (IVLP) continue to connect citizen diplomats from across the world with the local Miami community in a virtual capacity. In July an IVLP program for Video Games for STEAM and Entrepreneurship (A Western Hemisphere Program) took place with 21 IVLP participants who had a panel discussion with University of Miami Professor Lindsay Grace about the importance of creating social impact through video game creation and really understanding what your community needs.

A Social Entrepreneurs in the United States (Multi-Regional Program) involving 15 IVLP leaders met for two sessions with Center for Social Change, Radical Partners, and the Beacon Council. They concluded the program with a networking hour with local Miami community members and international participants. With breakout rooms, IVLP leaders were able to bring what would have been an in person coffee networking hour into the virtual space.

Also in July, a Preserving Holocaust History (A Regional Program) IVLP was planned for 16 participants from different countries in Europe where they virtually met with the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU to discuss the power of storytelling to educate communities on anti-semitism with the museum sharing artifacts and other exhibits they have.
